Abstract
Shipyards certainly have something that is used to manage inventory. The recording system used so far is still manually using Microsoft Excel. Companies often have difficulty knowing the inventory of ship raw materials in the warehouse, and data is prone to loss because the available data is not well integrated. Related research aims to design an inventory management information system that can manage website-based inventory. Analysis of the inventory system used using the PIECES (Performance, Information, Economy, Control, Efficiency, and Service) method to determine the weaknesses and lack of efficiency of the system that runs in the company because recording inventory is still manual. The inventory management system is designed using the prototype method to produce a flexible system that can be accessed easily and its use is also easy. This information system design produces an information system design according to user needs. The information system presented includes adding ship raw materials, item data information, barcode printing, item attributes, incoming ship raw materials activities, outgoing ship raw materials activities, road letters, adjustment activities, stock data information, low stock information, stock mutation, stock reports, adjustment lists, ship raw materials in and out reports, supplier and customer data information, and user management.
