Abstract
Indonesia has various industrial sectors, both food and non-food based industries, where the industrial sector helps improve the economy. Apart from that, there are other positive impacts in the form of increasing creativity and healthy competition between industrial sectors. However, this also has a negative impact in the form of the risk of work accidents and causing Occupational Illness. One of the industrial sectors highlighted is the plastic ore processing industry into plastic packaging sacks, where many use automatic machines in their work but still involve workers, whose involvement carries the risk of work accidents and Occupational Illness. To find out the condition of each worker in carrying out work, research was carried out where this research carried out observations and data collection in the form of distributing subjective complaint questionnaires where the questionnaire was taken from the 2010 revised ILO in subchapter 2.3. related to musculoskeletal disease and 25 questions were obtained. The respondents involved were 225 respondents with a total of 94 male respondents and a total of 131 female respondents, with the age range of respondents being 20 – 65 years. From the results of the questionnaire, it was found that two divisions received quite high scores among other divisions, namely the first position, namely the circular loom division with 26 workers experiencing complaints due to ergonomic conditions and the second position, namely the jumbo bag division with 25 workers experiencing complaints due to ergonomic conditions. Meanwhile, in other divisions, on average, there are 1-2 workers per division who experience complaints. Regarding this, control efforts can be given in the form of encouraging and implementing stretching activities every 3 hours for 10 to 15 minutes plus routine morning exercise activities every two weeks.
