ANALISIS PEMILIHAN SUPPLIER MATERIAL CONSUMABLE PERUSAHAAN GALANGAN KAPAL SURABAYA MENGGUNAKAN METODE AHP DAN SAW
Main Article Content
Abstract
The primary focus of the Surabaya Shipyard Company is shipbuilding, ship maintenance and repair, and general engineering, which involves the main activity of welding steel plates to build strong and durable ship structures. Therefore, welding wire is an important consumable material. Supplier selection is one of the most critical supply chain activities. In the supplier selection process, the Surabaya shipyard company often prioritizes the lowest price, which can lead to issues such as material delivery delays. These problems can cause significant losses for the shipyard. This study aims to determine the weights of criteria and sub-criteria so that the company can obtain the best welding wire supplier. The study uses the AHP method to analyze the weights of criteria and sub-criteria for supplier selection, while the SAW method is used for supplier ranking. The criterion weights are Quality (0.410), Cost (0.351), Delivery (0.088), Flexibility (0.040), Responsibility (0.110). The top 5 sub-criteria are materials that meet specifications (0.249), product price (0.246), consistent product quality (0.123), purchase discounts (0.105), quick response (0.065). The top 5 results of the SAW calculation are PT. WIM (0.97), PT. DS (0.92), PT. JA (0.85), CV. UJM (0.83), CV. DA (0.74).
