Penentuan Lightship Kapal Ikan 15 GT melalui Uji Periode Oleng Kapal (Rolling Period Test)

Abstract
Penentuan lightship dilakukan pada kapal ikan 15 GT yang merepresentasikan kapal kecil non konvensi yang beroperasi diperairan domestik Indonesia dimana dalam penentuan lightship nya cukup kesulitan jika menggunakan metode Inclining Test. Hal ini dikarenakan biaya yang relatif mahal dan keterbatasan alat uji. Prosedur yang dilakukan yaitu menentukan nilai lightship untuk mendapatkan berat dan letak titik berat kapal kosong yang diperoleh melalui Rolling Period Test. Dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan, didapatkan nilai lightship kapal ikan 15 GT sebesar 14,79 ton dengan LCG 6,139 meter; VCG 1,217 meter; TCG -0,001 meter sehingga rolling period test dapat dijadikan alternatif penentuan lightship selain inclining test khususnya untuk kapal kecil yang beroperasi diperairan terbatas.
