Pemanfaatan Low Speed Neodymium Wind Turbine Generator Sebagai Alternatif Sumber Listrik Rumah Kawasan Pesisir

Abstract
Penggunaan tenaga angin sebagai energi listrik alternatif relatif masih jarang diterapkan di Indonesia karena alasan kecepatan angin yang rata-rata rendah. Namun kawasan pesisir adalah perkecualian. Teknologi turbin angin dan generator magnet permanen jenis neodymium diharapkan mampu menjawab tantangan ini. Pengujian generator di laboratorium dengan berbagai variasi kecepatan angin dan kajian potensi angin khususnya wilayah pesisir menunjukkan
bahwa turbin angin dengan generator bereksitasi magnet permanen jenis neodymium dapat membangkitan daya cukup memadai pada kecepatan 4.43 m/s dan 5.9 m/s masing-masing dengan daya keluaran sebesar 49.2 Watt dan 80.24 Watt, Sehingga layak digunakan sebagai sumber daya listrik stand alone untuk kebutuhan rumah tangga.
