Analisis Postur Kerja dan Perancangan Ulang Fasilitas Kerja pada Aktivitas Persiapan Pencetakan Sampel Beton Menggunakan SNI 9011:2021
Abstract
Sustainable infrastructure development has driven the adoption of precast concrete as an efficient modern construction solution. However, precast concrete production still involves significant manual physical activities such as lifting and material handling that pose risks for Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs). In the Quality Control (QC) laboratory for concrete strength testing, workers manually produce 30–60 concrete samples per day weighing 3–6 kg each, while performing non-ergonomic postures including squatting, bending, and repetitive movements for 9 hours daily. This study aims to assess ergonomic risks using SNI 9011:2021 and propose workstation redesign in the QC laboratory to minimize MSD risks. The research employed descriptive quantitative methods with primary data collection including GOTRAK questionnaire, posture documentation using Angulus application, and ergonomic hazard checklist assessment based on SNI 9011:2021. Workstation redesign was adjusted to 2023 Indonesian anthropometric data and validated through 3D modeling using CATIA V5 software. Analysis results showed that mold preparation work yielded a total score of 22.5 classified as hazardous category, with MSD complaints most dominant in the lower back (83%). The redesign produced three main work facilities: work table, swivel chair with backrest, and material rack designed according to worker anthropometry. Reassessment after implementing recommendations showed score reduction from 22.5 (hazardous) to 4.5 (needs further observation), indicating the effectiveness of engineering control interventions in reducing ergonomic risks. This study concludes that facility redesign based on anthropometric data and CATIA simulation validation can guide worker posture toward neutral position and reduce musculoskeletal load in mold preparation work at precast concrete strength testing laboratory.
