Digitalisasi Permit to Work Terintegrasi Berbasis Website Responsive di Perusahaan Manufaktur Pangan
Abstract
The increasing production demand in the food manufacturing industry is directly proportional to the rising risk of occupational accidents, requiring the effective implementation of an Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS). In its operations, the company performs several high risk activities, including confined space work, hot work, and working at height. The control of these activities still relies on a paperbased permit to work system that requires physical approval from multiple validators. This manual system is considered inefficient, prone to data loss, and limited in terms of field supervision. Therefore, this study aims to develop an integrated responsive web based permit to work system to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of permit to work implementation and facilitate a more structured work authorization process. The system manages work permits integrated with hazard identification documents, namely Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for external parties (contractors) and Quick Risk Prediction (QRP) for the internal maintenance team. As an improvement over the existing system, the web based approach is designed to streamline the hierarchical approval process, securely store all historical data in a centralized database, and facilitate more structured occupational health and safety reporting.
