Analisis Risiko Kebakaran dengan Metode Fire Safety Concept Tree sebagai Dasar Perancangan APAR pada Gedung Perusahaan Jasa Konstruksi
Abstract
Construction service buildings have a high fire risk due to office activities, welding operations, metal cutting processes, and the use of electrical equipment. This study aims to analyze fire risk and design the required portable fire extinguishers (Portable Fire Extinguishers/PFE) for a construction service company building. Fire risk analysis was conducted using the Fire Safety Concept Tree (FSCT) method to identify appropriate fire protection strategies. The findings reveal that the main risk mitigation strategies emphasize preventing fire ignition and controlling fire consequences. According to the FSCT evaluation, the PFE system was developed following NFPA 10 (2022) standards by taking into account fire hazard categories, extinguisher specifications, capacity levels, and maximum travel distance criteria. The recommended design is anticipated to strengthen initial fire extinguishment efficiency and improve the overall fire protection performance of the facility and its users.
