Pengembangan Website Inspeksi dan Pemetaan Peralatan Darurat pada Perusahaan Pendukung Sektor Minyak dan Gas
Abstract
The inspection process of emergency equipment in industrial settings is often conducted manually using paper-based forms and separate recordkeeping systems, which may lead to reporting delays, difficulties in monitoring inspection status, and inefficient management of inspection data and follow-up actions. The implementation of technology with digital interfaces in the field of Occupational Health and Safety has been proven to contribute positively to improving administrative orderliness, enabling inspections to be carried out more quickly and accurately while reducing the risk of recording errors. This study aims to design and develop a web-based emergency equipment inspection and hazard mapping information system to support more effective and integrated inspection management using PHP and MySQL. The developed system is equipped with various features, including a monitoring dashboard, inspection scheduling, equipment inventory management, OpenStreetMap-based location mapping, QR code scanning, result validation, inspection report, and hazard mapping. The system is also designed with a responsive interface, allowing it to be accessed through laptops, personal computers, and mobile devices. The overall design results indicate that the developed information system has the potential to support emergency equipment inspections in a more effective and structured manner. The system is capable of addressing several limitations of conventional inspection processes, such as difficulties in monitoring inspection status, decentralized data management, and delays in report preparation. Therefore, this information system can serve as an alternative solution to improve inspection effectiveness while supporting risk control efforts and enhancing safety performance in the workplace.
