Penerapan Confined Space Entry Permit pada Industri Gas

This research was conducted by directly observing the process of cleaning work in confined spaces, as well as conducting direct interviews with workers in the acetylene, hydrogen and CO2 plan areas as well as with HSE and production managers. The method used in this study is to use confined space work procedures and use job safety analysis. The results obtained from this study are the identification of hazards in confined spaces by using job safety analysis for work in confined spaces, making work permits for confined space work and making work procedures for confined spaces with work permits on plans for acetylene, hydrogen, and CO2. In addition, the limited space that will be carried out in the research is 11 of the 21 limited spaces that exist. Of the 11 confined spaces I is classified into I4 the confined spaces with different hazard potentials, namely the acetylene plan has a gas holder and a reactor, then the hydrogen plan has 3 tanks, and the CO2 plan has a cold box.
