Abstract

ABSTRAK
Monitoring dan perawatan secara teratur pada paddle wheel aerator sangat penting dilakukan agar kondisi kualitas air tambak tetap terjaga. Petani tambak di Probolinggo jarang melakukan monitoring tambak udang dan pada paddle wheel aerator sehingga membuat alat tersebut tidak terawat yang akhirnya rusak berkarat dan berlumut. Permasalahan ini terjadi akibat kurangnya pengetahuan petani tambak tentang sistem monitoring. Dengan itu, diadakannyalah kegiatan pengabdian sosialisasi dan workshop agar petani tambak mendapatkan pengetahuan alat sistem monitoring berbasis IoT. Alat ini dilengkapi dengan sensor yang dapat mengidentifkasi derajat keasaman, tingkat saturasi oksigen dan suhu berbasis IoT yang memudahkan para petani tambak untuk memonitoring kualitas air melalui device masing-masing secara realtime dan terus menerus tanpa harus datang ke tambak. Dari pengabdian yang dilakukan masyarakat tertarik mengaplikasikan alat ini untuk tambak mereka mengingat banyak kemudahan
yang didapatkan.

ABSTRACT
Regular monitoring and maintenance on paddle wheel aerator is very important so that the condition of the pond water quality is maintained. Farm farmers in Probolinggo rarely monitor shrimp ponds and on paddle wheel aerators so as to make the tool unkempt which eventually damaged rust and moss. This problem occurs due to the lack of knowledge of farm farmers about the monitoring system. With that, socialization activities and workshops are held so that farm farmers get knowledge of IoT-based monitoring system tools. This tool is equipped with sensors that can identify the degree of acidity, oxygen saturation level and IoT-based temperature that makes it
easier for farm farmers to monitor water quality through their respective devices in real time and continuously without having to come to the pond. From the service done by the community interested in applying this tool to their ponds considering the many conveniences obtained.
