ANALISIS PENGARUH FILLER METAL DAN KUAT ARUS PADA PENGELASAN GTAW DENGAN MATERIAL 316L TERHADAP NILAI KEKERASAN, KUAT TARIK, KOMPOSISI KIMIA DAN METALLOGRAPHY
At the company where I carried out On The Job Training (OJT) the author saw a welder
who used filler metal that is rarely used in the fabrication process, namely filler metal TGX. This
happens because of the delay in the filler metal which is commonly used for the GTAW welding process.
This study aims to determine the effect of filler metal and current strength on stainless steel plate
material. The hardness test results produce the highest value in the fusion line area, especially in
specimens that have a higher current strength, namely with a current strength of 130A because the
grain size formed is getting smaller. Micro test results showed that there were 2 phases that occurred,
namely white austenite grains and black ferrite grains. From all the results of the tests carried out, it
meets the acceptance requirements permitted by the procedures and standards used.
