In Center Port Nilam there is construction of storage tanks and pipelines that will be used for distribution and storage of CPO (Crude Palm Oil). CPO will be transport to storage tank through  pipeline using carbon steel A53 grade B. In the pipeline there is  pipe bride as high as 8.6 meters and under the pipe bride there is elbow that potentially to erosion corrosion. This final project is to test the effect of flow rate and temperature to corrosion erosion rate of CPO to elbow material carbon steel A53 grade B. This final project use manual calculation and testing to know the erosion corrosion rate. For calculations use DNV RP O501 standard and for testing use ASTM G31-72 standard. This research used variations of speed of 1 m/s, 2 m/s, 3 m/s and temperature of 40 oC, 50 oC, 60 oC. From the results of manual calculations, can be concluded that greater flow rate’s velocity can cause grater erosion corrosion rate. From the test results, can be concluded that greater flow rate’s velocity and temperature can cause greater corrosion erosion rate.
