Abstract

This study discusses the design of a fresh water supply system from two production
well to a storage tank located at Gate 41A. The system is designed to ensure a continuous and
efficient water supply, meeting the daily demand of 7680 liters for worker accommodations.
The design process includes flow rate calculations, 3D pipeline routing and isometric drawing
using AutoCAD Plant 3D, as well as total head calculations to determine appropriate pump
specifications. The total head is obtained by summing major and minor head losses, pressure
head, elevation head, and velocity head, resulting in a manual calculation of 57,96 m and a
software simulation result of 54,74 m, with a percentage error of 5,08 %. Based on the analysis
a centrifugal pump Ebara 50-200/15 with a 66 m head and 91.3% efficiency is selected. This
study provides a comprehensive technical and analytical approach to designing an effective
fresh water distribution system in an industrial setting.
