An oil and gas company in Tuban experienced a decrease in production due to a decrease
in reservoir pressure, so a water injection system was planned to increase reservoir pressure and oil
recovery. This final project includes pipeline design, head loss calculation, pump selection, and stress
analysis. The final project uses software hydraulic analysis and software stress analysis using static
methods. The results are in the form of 3D models and isometric drawings, with a total distance of
163.1 meters. Manual calculations show a total head of 156.65 meters, while software results are 155
meters with a difference of 1.1%. The manual pump head was 156.6 meters with a power of 19.5 kW,
so a centrifugal pump with a maximum head of 165 meters and a power of 25.4 kW was selected. Stress
analysis of sustained, occasional, and thermal loads resulted in values of 7962.4 psi, 15639.1 psi, and
42154.6 psi, respectively. From the analysis that has been carried out, it is found that all stress values
are still below the allowable stress limits specified by the ASME B31.3 code. Thus, the piping system
for water injection is declared safe and in accordance with the standard.
