Abstract

Dhoho International Airport in Kediri is designed to handle increasing air traffic, requiring
a reliable aviation fuel (Avtur) distribution system. This study focuses on designing the Avtur piping
system to tank 200-TK-3-04 in the DPPU area. The problems addressed include pipeline layout, pipe
span calculation, support selection, pump head analysis, and material cost estimation. The
methodology involves manual calculations based on ASME B31.3 and EI 1540 standards, along with
simulations using Pipe Flow Expert. Results show the system delivers Avtur at 70 KL/h, requiring a
pump head of approximately 53–56 meters and power between 8.5–8.8 kW.
