Perancangan Instalasi Air Bersih Pada Gedung VVIP
Abstract
The importance of piping systems in building construction cannot be ignored. Correct installation of piping will secure and maintain a healthy environment in your residence or workplace. This research aims to design a clean and dirty water piping system in the VVIP building. The design of the piping system refers to SNI 8153:2015 concerning Piping Systems in Buildings. Meeting clean water needs is planned to use water from underground tanks and use pumps to distribute clean water. The calculation result of the average water requirement in the VVIP building is 200 liters/minute. A groundwater tank with a capacity of 40,000 liters of clean water is required. The pump power required is 5.7 kW. The types of pipes planned for the clean water piping system used are High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) pipes and PVC pipes for dirty water with a total planned material cost budget of IDR 126,472,414.00.
