Abstract - The Ulubelu Debottlenecking Project is a modification of the existing SAGS (Steam Above Ground
Gathering) system in the Ulubelu area, namely the steam and Brine piping modification / addition project. The
fluid flowing in the piping system has a very high pressure and temperature, the design that has been made and
approved in the engineering phase cannot be applied to the field because there is a request from the owner to
place the position of the Air Receiver Tank to be moved closer to the position of the compressor house and also
re-routing the 32 inch outlet separator pipe. Therefore, it is necessary to calculate the allowable span and
placement of support positions after re-routing the pipeline and also calculate the flexibility of the piping system
whether the system is safe to operate. After calculating the span and flexibility, stress analysis and nozzle load
evaluation will be carried out. After the calculation, the minimum number of supports needed in the steam pipe
line is 7 pieces and for the hot brine pipe line is 19 pieces. 2. The flexibility value of the steam pipeline piping
system from the outlet of the separator to the first support point does not exceed the limit of provisions referring
to ASME B31.1 which is 0.0005. Then the design is still flexible so that the pipe line is said to be still feasible
or safe to operate.
