Leaks are a common occurrence in piping systems. The maintenance department is doing maintenance on the circulating water system area. During inspection, a leak was found in the pipe. The pipeline operates for 10 years. This paper discusses the analysis of the occurrence of leaks in the pipe, so that the existing pipes can survive to reach the lifetime that the company wants (30 years). The calculation standard uses DNV RPO501, ASTM G31-72, ASME B31.3, and API 574 standards. The erosion rate on the pipe is 3.2632 x 10-5 mm/year and lifetime is 492.247 years. The results of the calculation of the the corrosion rate on the pipe using the immersion test method with a NaCl fluid solution is 0.5580 mm/year and a lifetime value is 10.5294 years. In order for the pipe to survive in accordance with the wishes of the company, the pipe must have a thickness of 20,40789 mm. The value of the corrosion rate on the material with the addition of a rubber layer has a corrosion rate value of 0.1139 mm/year, and a lifetime value of 64.5489 years.
