Analisis Tegangan dan Kelelahan pada Riser Pipeline dengan Platform Akibat Pengaruh Vortex Induced Vibration (VIV)

A riser pipeline with a diameter of 6" plans to connect the platform above sea level with a seabed pipeline
with a sea depth of 29.87 m with a riser attached to the platform using a riser clamp. Underwater conditions with the
influence of underwater currents result in vortex induced vibration in the riser span, it is necessary to calculate
equivalent loads in accordance with ASME B31.8 for static loads. Then for the length of span that is allowed to follow
the standard DNV-RP-F105 and need to be calculated also fatigue value of the riser analyzed using standard DNVRP-C203. Simulation using ANSYS CFX software is done to determine the load due to the current speed received by
the riser and then the results are inserted into ANSYS Static Structural for simulation. In this final task obtained
several outputs namely the load of the submerged riser 1120 N /m, then large von mises stress of 116 Mpa, and get
fatigue life for 21 years with the ratio of damage received by the pipeline riser of 0.952 resulting from cross-flow
motion calculations
