Optimasi Desain Sistem Perpipaan Proses Line 6-HZ-563-1527-E6E-64H Pada Kondisi Sustained Load dan Thermal Load

Abstract

Oil and gas companies in the Cepu block area have a crude oil distribution pipeline from the
production wellhead carbonate to the wellpad flowline which has line number 6-HZ-563-1527-E6E-64H which
is analyzed for stress manually or using CAESAR II 2019 2019 software. the sustained load is 7334.9 psi and
the expansion load is 29059.8 psi. The results of the stress analysis due to the expansion load exceeding the
allowable stress based on ASME B31.3 due to the effect of an increase in temperature of 356°F. The allowable
span value for the design alternative recommendations in segment 1 is 12.206 ft, segment 2 is 12,206 ft, segment
3 is 12.529 ft, segment 4 is 12,097 ft, and segment 5 is 35,097. The minimum number of support for segment 1
is 0, segment 2 is 0, segment 3 is 1, segment 4 is 0, and segment 5 is 3 pieces. The greatest stress value due to
sustained load is alternative 1 of 6402.4 psi, alternative 2 of 5352.4 psi, and alternative 3 of 4289 psi. The
stress value due to the largest expansion load of alternative 1 is 25882.7 psi, alternative 2 is 26199.2 psi, and
alternative 3 is 26771.8 psi. The results of the optimization of the minimum pipe wall thickness t value of
0.615001 inch in accordance with alternative 1 with a stress value due to sustained load for axial stress of
5450.263 psi, bending stress of 15871.63 psi, hoop stress of 11472.25 psi while the stress value due to expansion
load for axial stress of 72.88 psi, bending stress of 25819.55 psi.
