Abstract

Clean water services in the Sidoarjo Regency are under the management of PDAM Delta
Tirta Sidoarjo. According to PERDA Sidoarjo No. 6 of 2009, several sub-districts in Sidoarjo receive
priority for clean water services, one aspect of the service is water pressure received by customers and
according to SNI the minimum pressure received by customers is 0.75 bar. Pressure data from the
Kedungturi area in June 2020 shows that Kedungturi has water pressure below the minimum pressure
of 0.5 bar. With this problem, it is necessary to add a pump in the Kedungturi area to meet the water
pressure in the Kedungturi area. The activities carried out are calculating the amount of water needed,
calculating the pump head and pump power, determining the minimum number of pumps installed, and
determining the type of pump and modeling with the help of software. The total discharge requirement
in the Kedungturi area is 6,264 m3/day, with an inline pump head of 210.101 m and a booster pump
head of 216,080 m and an inline pump power of 74.4586 kW and a booster pump power of 76.5775 kW,
and choose an inline pump with the Grundfos type. Model TP 300-750/4 and booster pump with type
Ebara Model 100X65 FS2KA575, based on Analysis assisted by WaterCAD, obtained several variables
such as flow demand and pressure values that have met the standard above the minimum pressure of
0.75 bar.
