Abstract

In working on a project there will be several problems such as project completion time that
is not on time, causing delays which result in excessive costs due to additional duration that cannot be
pursued. Planning, cost and time control is part of the overall project management. The costs that have
been incurred and the time used in completing a job must be measured continuously so as not to deviate
from the initial plan. This research was conducted on the Natural Gas Network Project for Household
Package II Aceh Tamiang due to delays in the House Connection line. So it is necessary to optimize to
overcome these delays. The schedule used is PERT (Program Evaluation and Review Technique) and
as a comparison of project acceleration using the crash program method by adding workers and fast
track by accelerating predecessor activities on the critical path. The results of the analysis using the
fast track method are time and cost efficient with a duration of 66 days, 38 days faster than the normal
duration of 104 days. and at a cost of Rp. 195,981,000 more efficient than the normal cost of Rp.
492.890.000 and crash duration costs Rp. 221,262,000. Optimization using the fast track method was
chosen because it has a more efficient cost
