In the implementation of the project the cost and duration often does not correspond to what
is planned. The initial duration of the gas network project for households, Langsa City is 240 days.
Identification of delays with FTA and acceleration methods is carried out to address project delays.
Project Crashing is a method of reducing the time of one or more project activities with the aim of
shortening project time. Least Cost Scheduling is an analysis of obtaining project duration with
minimal total project cost. Scheduling uses PDM for job identification in critical paths, then shortened
with alternative crashing and LCS by comparing the addition of working hours and workers to
determine the optimum duration and cost. The results of the research obtained by WBS on Gas Network
Project for Households consisted of Preparatory, Engineering, Procurement, Constuction,Testingand
Post-Construction work. Thereason for the delay in the FTA is the imbalance of work with the ability
to join the team. The duration of the project work is obtained from the actual productivity obtained a
duration of 239 days for all project activities. Optimasi using Crashing and LCS method, obtained
the duration where the method of scheduling the addition of workers who are able to accelerate the
time of 73 days and duration to 166 days at a cost of Rp.3.801.430.000. The option of adding workers
is chosen because the Project can be completed when before the rainy season arrives and scheduling
is cheapest, and can overcome delays by considering the duration, cost and weather.
