Abstract – One of Company in Kalimantan plans to increase the capacity of palm oil with storage tanks 450 kL using A283 Gr C carbonsteel material. This analisys refers to the API 650 standard 13th edition, 2020 and SNI standard for some data and earthquake load calculations accompanied by modeling and calculation of the finite element method with Ansys software. For the calculation of the stability of the tank against the wind, the moment value obtained is 2,645,78 N.m less than 96,826,716.81 N.m and the calculation results of overtuning moment on seismic load, anchorage ratio criteria is less than 0.785, then the stable tank does not require mechanical anchorage. Simulation results using Ansys with a fluid load and pressure of N and 16.901.4 Pa in the shell. The von mises value in the shell is 37.267 MPa. This stress is still far below the allowable stress of material (A 283 gr C) of 137 MPa and yield stress of 205 MPa. The largest deformation effect by the tank is 0.39 mm.
