Abstract

This case study taken from a company which is a company engaged in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning (EPCC) project, has experienced delays in the piping system construction project at the one of the coal fired power plan project which is indicated based on progress recorded in the data base. So it was recommended to indetify delay engaged. Identification of the risk of delays through the failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) method, often the risk of failure from critical activities is caused by overly complex managerial roles from both party 1 contractors and second party sub-contractors. For Reliability Centered Maintenance II priciple analysis, failure is included in category O which means that consequences have an impact on production. Requirements for proactive task O1 are became right steps in mitigating delays by various parties concerned for each failure.
