Abstract

In one area, there is design consideration caused by land limitations in existing conditions. Some piping systems with stress by owner priority are designed with a BOP height of +1750 mm. therefore, to be able to place the pipe at the height required pipe support in the form of a steel structure with the type of goal post. But that height exceeds the height covered by the standard pipe support document. For that pipe support design requires analysis and determination of the IWF steel structure profile that can be used in order to get optimal result in terms of technical strength, stable, serviceable, and durable. The analysis will be carried out with reference SNI 1729;2015 using LRFD method. And to model and analyze pipe support design will be carried out with SAP2000 Version 20 software. From the analysis results obtained the optimal pipe support design is Goal Post 3 using beam profile H-125x125x6.5x9 and column H-200x200x8x12. The filler welding metal used is E7015, with the SMAW welding process. Base plate measuring 300 mm x 300 mm with a thickness of 5 mm. Four anchor bolts for base plate with M20 diameter and minimum length of 340 mm.
