Abstract

A lubricating oil processing manufacturing company that is an active entity in the process of processing and processing into new ready-to-use products. Frequent failures in the P-101A pump engine in the Hydrofinishing process which is an important stage in the production of lubricating oil. Based on downtime data in 2024 the failure of the pump engine amounted to 21%. Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) is used to identify the risk of failure of each component function. The results of the FMEA analysis were 27 components and 28 failure modes. Critical components include lift tilt cylinder and brake lining with RPN 80, as well as control valve and oil filter with RPN 64. From the results of the pareto diagram analysis, the components included in the 20% critical components are mechanical seals with an RPC value of 140, timming gear and strator with an RPN value of 120.
