Abstract

Manual inspection of fire protection systems in high-risk industries, such as biochemistry, faces constraints of inefficiency, risk of historical data loss, and frequently missed schedules. These problems hinder effective fire risk mitigation efforts. This research aims to design an Android-based inspection application system using the Flutter framework to overcome these issues at a biochemical company in Mojokerto. The method employed is system design with a structured approach, initiated by problem identification through gap analysis. The system design focuses on modeling functional requirements using Use Case Diagrams and designing the database structure using Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD). The result of this research is a comprehensive system blueprint, consisting of a functional model that defines workflows and user access rights (HSE Personnel and Manager), and a data model via ERD that details crucial entities such as Users, Equipment (Portable Fire Extinguishers, Wheeled Fire Extinguishers, Hydrants), and Inspection Reports, along with their relationships. It is concluded that the resulting design has successfully mapped the system's requirements both functionally and structurally, providing a logical and efficient foundation for the subsequent application development phase.
