Perancangan Sistem Informasi Pelayanan Kesehatan dan Manajemen Farmasi Berbasis Website Pada Politeknik Perkapalan Negeri Surabaya

Abstract

Politeknik Perkapalan Negeri Surabaya (PPNS) operates a clinic as a healthcare facility for its academic community. However, the healthcare services and pharmaceutical management systems at the clinic are still partially manual and not yet integrated, making them susceptible to errors in information recording. This study aims to design a web-based information system for healthcare services and pharmaceutical management to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of data management. The research methods employed include preliminary observation, literature review, field study, interviews, and the collection of both primary and secondary data. The system design process involved the development of use case diagrams, activity diagrams, and entity relationship diagrams (ERD) as guidelines for system development. The resulting web-based information system can be accessed by users with three distinct roles: doctors, nurses, and pharmacists. Each role has specific responsibilities within the system, such as patient registration, clinical examination, data validation, and the management of medicine and medical supplies (BMHP). This system integrates healthcare services and pharmaceutical management, displays data accurately, and facilitates systematic and efficient storage and retrieval of medical and pharmaceutical records. Additionally, it includes data download and validation features within the pharmaceutical management module to ensure data integrity and minimize the risk of data falsification.
