ANALISIS HUMAN ERROR PROBABILITY MENGGUNAKAN METODE HEART PADA PEKERJAAN PRINTING DI PERUSAHAAN KARUNG PLASTIK
Abstract
The plastic sack company is a business entity engaged in manufacturing that produces 2 types of packaging in the form of woven bags and jumbo bags. This plastic sack company has work accident data that is increasing every year. The company's accident data that contributes to the highest accident rate is printing work as much as 24%. In printing work to produce this plastic sack using Flexo Roll Tol Roll (RTR) printing machine. Human factors are the main cause of accidents in printing work. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to determine the Human Error Probability (HEP) of printing work using the Human Error Assessment and Reduction Technique (HEART) method approach to determine the probability value of human error in printing work and can provide appropriate improvement recommendations so that work accidents in printing work can be minimized. Based on the results of the analysis, the highest HEP is generated in subtask 4.5 cleaning the remaining ink attached to the roll machine with a value of 1.0944. Controls that can be given in accordance with the control hierarchy are engineering control by making a plate for cleaning the remaining ink attached to the roll by pressing the main button. These controls will reduce the operator's relationship or interaction with the machine when cleaning ink which results in human error, make it safer, and reduce the operator's error workload. In addition, controls in the form of understanding structured work instructions and the importance of using personal protective equipment during work must also be given to operators
