Inovasi Sistem Informasi Website Responsive untuk Pemantauan Hasil Audit Internal Machine Safety pada Industri Otomotif
Abstract
Car manufacturing companies are part of the automotive industry that produce vehicle components, stamp car bodies, assemble vehicles, and export cars to various countries. The production process involves various industrial machines that require special attention to occupational safety aspects. To ensure the safety of the workforce, the company routinely conducts machine safety audits to evaluate the performance and safety protection of the machines used. However, the implementation of internal audits has not been maximized because the documentation process of findings is still done semi-manually through Excel, while follow-ups are only monitored via email, which complicates the periodic monitoring process. Based on these issues, this research aims to design a responsive web-based information system that can optimize the implementation of machine safety audits in the company. The website is designed to be accessible via both laptops and mobile phones with a flexible and user-friendly interface. The design process was carried out through the formulation of system requirements using use case diagrams, determination of entities and attributes in the database, creation of interface designs, and implementation of the system using HTML and PHP programming languages, as well as the MySQL database. This website is equipped with main features such as an audit report dashboard, addition of findings and follow-ups, audit status monitoring, and searching for safety regulation documents. This system is expected to assist the internal audit team in conducting oversight, recording follow-ups, and integrating safety regulations into a single effective platform. The test results show that all features function well without any errors or bugs during use.
