Abstract

Given the high hazard risks associated with oil and gas exploration and production, companies in this
sector adhere to the Safety Management System (SMK3) as mandated by Indonesian Government Regulation No.
50 of 2012. One of the core principles of the OHS Management System is the monitoring and evaluation of OHS
practices. This study focuses on optimizing the reporting, monitoring, and evaluation system for OHS. The current
system for HSSE data reporting and monitoring relies on Microsoft Excel, which is considered less effective due
to its limitations in data analysis and visualization. The research methodology involves designing an advanced
information system based on Power BI to enhance the HSSE function's capabilities in data analysis and
visualization. This system integrates the strengths of Microsoft Power BI with Microsoft Excel. The findings
demonstrate that utilizing Power BI offers more interactive data visualizations and simplifies data analysis,
thereby enhancing the decision-making process within the HSSE function
