Abstract

This research explores user experience (UI/UX) improvements in an application providing information on the expiration dates of fire extinguishers (APAR) and the readiness of hydrants. The primary focus is to optimize the application design to enhance effectiveness and efficiency in managing firefighting equipment in workplace environments. Research methods include user needs analysis, evaluation of existing applications, and implementation of design changes based on current UI/UX principles. The findings indicate that significant improvements in UI/UX can enhance user engagement, speed of information access, and reliability of maintenance-related data for fire safety equipment. The implications of this research underscore the importance of user-centered design approaches in developing technology applications for workplace safety and security.
