Abstract

Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) are injuries caused by receiving static loads over a long period of time and repeatedly on skeletal muscles. The level of musculoskeletal complaints in office workers is quite high. Employees in the DPA division felt this complaint in the back and neck after carrying out computer use activities. From the results of a survey of complaints about musculoskeletal disorders among employees, it shows that 75% of employees from 8 have experienced pain or discomfort related to work, with a complaint rate of 23% high, 10% moderate. These complaints were experienced by employees in the neck, shoulders, upper back, lower back and hips. This research aims to analyze work postures, provide recommendations and their effectiveness. This research uses SNI 9011:2021 to determine the level of musculoskeletal complaints and Rapid Office Strain Assessment (ROSA) to assess work attitude risks. The results of research using the ROSA method obtained a work posture score of 7 (seven) and it is in the high category so it is necessary to take action to improve the work station.
