Analisis Property Damage pada Proyek Pertambangan Menggunakan Metode Fishbone Diagram dan SCAT
Abstract
Companies engaged in fabrication construction in mining areas cannot be separated from potential cases of
property damage. The property damage referred to is the case of a work accident that is detrimental and causes
damage to company assets without loss of life, one of which is the case of property damage to a broken water pipe
(HDPE) during erection. So, property damage investigation analysis is needed to find the root of existing problems
as a form of continuous improvement effort. This research aims to determine the basic causes of property damage
in piling work using the Fishbone Diagram method through graphic identification of 8 categories: people, method,
machine, material, measurement, environment, management, and maintenance. This research also aims to obtain
corrective actions and recommendations in accordance with the control hierarchy from a description of direct
causes and basic causes based on the SCAT Chart. The results of the analysis using the Fishbone Diagram method
obtained categories of causes, namely people, method, measurement, environment, and management. Meanwhile,
the results of the analysis using the Systematic Cause Analysis Technique (SCAT) method found five direct causes,
five basic causes, and five corrective actions, as well as recommendations based on the control hierarchy so that
similar things do not happen again in the next project.
