Analisis Perbedaan Safety Behavior Pada Welder di Proyek Konstruksi Menggunakan Metode One Way Anova
Abstract
A construction project is an activity that has a specific duration with limited resources. In an industrial development project, this construction company is responsible for the implementation of pipe fabrication, pipe installation, pipe testing, and ensuring that all pipe systems and components function properly and meet the design specifications set. The process of connecting pipe sections is inseparable from the welding activity carried out by welders or welding technicians. Construction projects with time constraints have the potential for workplace accidents. Workplace accidents are unexpected events that can cause losses. Workplace accidents can be caused by unsafe actions or unsafe conditions. Unsafe actions are unsafe behaviors performed by workers, such as ignoring safety regulations, which can lead to workplace accidents. Unsafe conditions are unsafe conditions in the work environment, which can pose a threat. This study aims to investigate the differences in safety behavior among work areas among welders using the One Way Anova method with the help of SPSS version 26 software. The data collection process was conducted using a total sampling technique on a population of welders in the Flash Smelting Furnace (FSF), Flash Casting Furnace (FCF), and Anode Casting areas with a sample size of 36 respondents. Observations were made using a safety observation checklist form based on the company's method statement. The results of the One Way Anova test showed that there were no significant differences in safety behavior among the three areas with a significance value of 0.537.
