Penilaian Risiko Kebakaran dengan Menggunakan Metode FLAME dan Evaluasi APAR di Depo Kontainer
Abstract
Container Depot is a place for storage, cleaning, repairing, and conducting container surveys at the entry and exit of the container depot, as well as a place to execute the process of loading and unloading containers, LOLO (lift on - lift off), storage of loaded containers, and repair and maintenance of heavy equipment (Reach stacker, forklift, and Side Loader). Based on data released by the Central Bureau of Statistics, the loading and unloading business in Indonesia contributed approximately 507,755 million tons which is the total amount of cargo unloaded and loaded in the 2018-2021 period. Therefore, there is an urgency to ensure operations in this industrial sector can operate safely, including in assessing and controlling fire hazard risks. The fire hazard assessment in this study uses the FLAME (Fire Risk Assessment Method for Enterprises) method, which produces two types of variables, namely Occupant Risk Level (ORL) and Property Risk Level (PRL). Meanwhile, the fire extinguisher evaluation will refer to the NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) 10 Year 2022 standard. The results obtained from the fire risk assessment using the FLAME method are in both ORL and PRL variables, there are 4 areas declared to have a high fire risk hazard and 3 areas declared to have an acceptable fire risk hazard. For the evaluation of APAR itself, the results show that there is a shortage of APAR in 3 areas out of 7 areas evaluated.
