Perancangan Sistem Informasi untuk Inspeksi Sarana Proteksi dan Tanggap Darurat di Perusahaan Casting Gresik Menggunakan AppSheet
Abstract
Casting Plant 5 Gresik is a foundry company that manufactures automotive spare parts for motor vehicles ranging from small-scale to heavy-duty trucks, located in Gresik. According to Law Number 13 of 2003, the company is required to provide facilities and programs to prevent workplace accidents, one of which is through regular inspections of emergency response and protection facilities. Observations show that the emergency response and protection facilities at this company include 33 fire extinguishers, 3 heavy fire extinguishers, 2 traditional sand fire extinguishers, 1 portable hydrant, 12 first aid boxes, 1 first aid room, and 1 assembly point with evacuation routes. Currently, the inventory and inspection of emergency response and protection facilities in the company are not optimal because they are still done manually using paper checklists, so not all facilities are recorded and inspected. This study aims to design an information system to support the efficient implementation of inspections of emergency response and protection facilities, creating more effective and real-time data integration. Inspection data can be accessed, analyzed, and managed quickly in a single view. The information system will be created using AppSheet with Google Spreadsheet as the database. AppSheet is chosen because it allows users to create applications with visual design, flexible data integration, and business process automation without requiring deep coding skills. Additionally, AppSheet's free service enables the information system to be accessed via both websites and applications.
