Analisis Risiko Kegagalan Komponen Tower Crane pada Proyek RSIA Kaliwaron Menggunakan Metode FMEA
Abstract
A construction project is an activity that has a certain time period with limited resources to carry out a predetermined task in the form of building or repairing facilities (buildings, roads, bridges, dams). The work carried out on the Kaliwaron Mother and Child Hospital Project is lower structure and upper structure work. Structural work consists of column work, beam work, floor plate work, wall work, stair work. Structural work affects architectural performance, the speed of building structural work is also influenced by the choice of heavy equipment used. A tower crane is a tool used to lift materials vertically and horizontally to high places with limited space. Tower Crane activities on the Project are used to facilitate material needs inside and outside the Project within the Tower Crane radius. The use of Tower Cranes in Projects is very risky for component failure, because the Tower Crane work process is very busy with 24 hour non-stop working hours, so the Tower Crane often undergoes maintenance. The aim of this research is to analyze Tower Crane failure modes using Failuire Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). This method is able to identify possible causes and impacts arising from potential failure modes of Tower Crane components, by calculating the RPN value of a total of 22 Tower Crane components that have been obtained. From the analysis results, it is known that the value with the highest RPN is for the slewing mechanism component with an RPN value of 126, then for the value with the lowest RPN for the lighting component with an RPN value of 12.
