Abstract

The packaging industry is a company engaged in the manufacturing sector that produces packaging in the form of woven bags (plastic sacks). This packaging company has a zero accident target, but in reality there are still many accidents during the production process. Work accident data from 2019 to 2022 shows that 41% of work accidents occur in the ABM (Automatic Bag Machine) division. The ABM Division is a division engaged in printing work, which in the process uses a Flexo RTR printing machine. The human factor is the main cause of accidents in Flexo RTR printing jobs with a percentage of 72%. The purpose of this research is to find out the Human Error Probability (HEP) of RTR (Roll To Roll) flexo printing in packaging companies. This study uses the Human Error Assessment and Reduction Technique (HEART) approach to determine the probability value of the occurrence of human error. The results showed that the highest human error probability value was in the subtask of checking the results of printing woven bags on the machine roll with a HEP value of 0.6658, meaning that the probability of an error being made was 66.58%, including a high probability.
