INSPECTION SYSTEM AND ACCIDENT REPORT PLANNING AND MONITORING RESULT ON OVERHEAD CRANE AND GANTRY CRANE BASED ON WEB AND ANDROID AT MANUFACTURING COMPANIES

Abstract

Precast company is a manufacturing company producing precast and non-precast concrete. To fulfill customer orders that were high enough, the company doing 24-hour production process supported by overhead cranes and gantry cranes. The lack of labor and high production hours makes it difficult for companies in-doing monitoring and maintenance which causes frequent inspections that aren’t carried out regularly every month. The impact that occurs due to frequent inspections that aren’t carried out and reporting of unrecorded accidents makes the company got a many losses. Therefore, in this study a web and android-based inspection system was made to facilitate the K3L division by referring to applicable regulations. In making this Android application, the results of the inspections are based on PER.05/MEN/1985 concerning lift and transport aircraft and accident reporting tables, processed in the database using MySQL, XAMPP and android studio. The results of the design are in the form of a crane condition statement for inspection checklists and accident data tables. The design of this system can make the company easily monitoring in the form of a list of inspection and accident results that have been validated by the head of K3L against conditions that occur in the field through an android application.
