ANALISIS PERFORMA FOUR STROKE DIESEL ENGINE MENGGUNAKAN BAHAN BAKAR MULTI FEEDSTOCK (MINYAK KELAPA SAWIT, MINYAK IKAN SALMON, EXTRAK KULIT MANGGIS)
Abstract
In the era of globalization, the automotive industry is experiencing rapid development, including in Indonesia. The increase in the number of motorized vehicles in the country causes serious problems such as congestion, high fuel consumption and air pollution. Fuel oil (BBM) from petroleum is the main energy source, but it also has environmental impacts. Biofuel (BBN) or biodiesel, as an environmentally friendly alternative, is attracting attention with the trend of increasing its use. In this research, the three raw materials are combined and will produce biodiesel which is called multi feedstock biodiesel and will be mixed with Pertamina Dex to become B20, B35, and B100. Then it will be tested on a four-stroke diesel engine with engine speed variations of 1000, 1200, 1400 rpm and load variations 2000 watts, 3000 watts, 4000 watts. And from several biodiesel samples, from the performance test results, it is known that B100 fuel is the most optimal in producing the required power, torque and gsfc values when testing a four-stroke diesel engine.
