Abstract
There has been a lot of researches on Oscillating Water Column, but the studies of their potential or feasibility installed on the beach are limited. However, research that examines the standard size of the prototype tank to produce a combination of 2 laboratory-scale current and wave simulation tools has not been found. Based on these conditions, this final project was carried out to obtain the design of the tank and wave breaker in the test tank. The initial stage begins with calculating the hydrostatic pressure, the weight of the tank in the fluid and sloshing. The result of the stage is the test tank has dimensions of 6x2x1.5 m using 20mm thick acrylic material. The foundation stiffener uses H beam material with a dimension of 300x300mm. The hollow profile used for the longitudinal stiffener has a dimension of 132x132mm. E6013 type welding wire with a tensile stress of 206 kN is used for welding in the fabrication. Based on wave breaker calculation at deep water, the mass is 18.424kg, and at intermediate water, the mass is 3.625.
