Abstract
The analysis of exhaust emissions in a four-stroke diesel engine with biodiesel from several feedstocks such as palm oil, used cooking oil, and sunflower oil is an important study an effort to reduce negative impacts on the environment. This study aims to evaluate the use of biodiesel from various sources as an alternative fuel for four-stroke diesel engines. Exhaust emission analysis involves monitoring the concentration of gases such as nitrogen oxides (NOx), carbon monoxide (CO), hydrocarbons (HC), and particulates. This study aims to show that the use of multi-feedstock biodiesel can provide significant reductions in exhaust emissions, especially NOx, CO, and HC. This can be attributed to the different chemical properties of biodiesel compared to conventional diesel fuel. The use of biodiesel can also help reduce dependence on fossil resources and provide a more environmentally friendly alternative. Thus, this study provides valuable insights into the potential use of multi-feedstock biodiesel in reducing exhaust emissions in four-stroke diesel engines, supporting efforts to achieve sustainability goals in the industrial and transportation sectors against pollution and the environment.
