PERHITUNGAN FREKUENSI EKSITASI UNTUK MENGHINDARI TERJADINYA RESONANSI PADA KAPAL GENERAL CARGO 6088 GT MENGGUNAKAN METODE MAPE
Abstract
This research analyses the vibration of the main engine foundation by using a mathematical modelling method to determine the stiffness and natural frequency. The initial analysis is performed to find the value of natural frequency, which is calculated in two ways: manual calculation and analysis using finite element software. The results of the two natural frequency calculation methods were then validated using the MAPE method. Before finding the natural frequency, deflection and stiffness calculations that affect the vibration response of the main engine were carried out. The stiffness value is used to find the natural frequency. The result of the stiffness value is 9.71 x 107 N/m, the natural frequency from manual calculation is 7.563 Hz, and the natural frequency from software analysis is 7.804 Hz. The validation shows a difference between manual calculation and software analysis of 3.19%. These stiffness and natural frequency values can be used to prevent resonance, thereby increasing the efficiency and life of the machine.
