Abstract

3D modeling design has been widely used to determine the form of visualization from construction to the accuracy of piping systems and other systems on various types of ship design. Especially in the engine room layout of the ship which is so complex, because it covers almost all the systems on the ship. Such as piping systems, shafting arrangements, fuel systems and other systems. With this 3D engine room layout modeling, we can know the accuracy and precision of each installed equipment. Furthermore, it can be seen the actual engine room space after the engine equipment is installed, as well as facilitate the routing pipe in each system in the engine room. Likewise on the Tug Boat with engine capacity of 2 x 1,800 Kw with the design of the engine room layout that is so simple. Another goal of the 3D model is to find out the actual form of visualization and to find out the accuracy of the full out fitting block system so that it does not collide with one another and can determine the total capacity of the pump or valve as needed before proceeding to construction.
