Analisis Kekuatan Memanjang Kapal Menggunakan Metode Elemen Hingga: Studi Kasus Kapal General Cargo
Main Article Content
Abstract
Along with the times, the development of the types and uses of ships is also increasingly diverse. One of them is a cargo ship that was first built in 18521. It is recorded in the data that the number of active cargo ships in Indonesia is 2,651 units. This is also accompanied by the number of accidents on cargo ships, one of which is caused by the failure of the longitudinal structure of the ship which is unable to withstand the load when the ship is operating. The required ship data includes the main size of the ship, construction, ship weight. The goal is to determine the longitudinal strength of the ship based on the size of the cargo in sagging and hogging conditions. Ship modeling and longitudinal analysis were carried out at midship using fusion 360. The results of the analysis obtained the stress and moment of the ship in the sagging, hogging, and even keel state.
