Abstract

In this study will be discussed risk assessment on pipeline located in Salawati West Papua consisting of 3 flowline and 1 export line. The flowline drains oil from 3 wells to Matoa Processing Area (MPA) with pipe diameters 6 ", 8", and 10 ". While the export line serves to drain the oil from the Matoa Processing Area (MPA) to the Canal Jetty with a pipe diameter of 6 ". The Probability of Failure (PoF) calculation uses the random number generated method that is performed with Monte Carlo simulation. While the determination of Consequence of Failure (CoF) and the determination of risk level on the pipeline using semi-quantitative risk based inspection analysis based on code API 581. From the calculation results obtained different categories of risk levels at each location. The location of Canal, Bagong, and MT 14 belongs to category 1B with interval isnspection every 10 years and the location of SWO has the highest level of risk that is category 5B with interval ispection every 4 years. The inspection method used is visual examination, ultrasonic straight beam, eddy current, flux leakage, radiography and dimension measurement.
