Abstract

On a project there is often a problem or constraint outside of the initial planning of the project, so that delays in a project will inevitably occur. The delay that occurs will cause the duration and cost of the planned project will not be equal to the duration and cost of project implementation. One way to anticipate it by doing optimization. The Grissik-Pusri Gas Pipeline Project was selected for the research study due to delays in its completion. Optimization is done by making the network using Precedence Diagram Method to get critical jaluk, then calculation of productivity and cost of work on critical path then using Time Cost Trade Off method to compare the addition of working hours and workers used to determine the duration and optimum cost in project work. From the analysis results obtained work with the addition of working hours cost Rp. 21.923.400.000,00 and duration of 5 months, while work with the addition of workers cost Rp. 17.544.000.000,00  and 3.5 months duration. Timing optimization using the addition of workers is selected because it can solve the problem of delay that occurred without adding the total duration of the project
